Shabbat

We invite you to join us for Shabbat services, a time to pause, recharge, and gather as a sacred community. Whether in person or online, Shabbat at Temple Beth Shalom offers a space for prayer, song, learning, and connection.

Friday Night Services
Begin your Shabbat with a sense of peace and reflection. Services start at 6:00 PM and are filled with meaningful liturgy, music, and community warmth as we welcome the day of rest.

Saturday Morning Services
Join us in the Sanctuary at 10:00 AM for Shacharit and Musaf, led by our clergy and dedicated lay leaders. Services are participatory and spiritual, honoring tradition while remaining open and welcoming to all.

Following services, we invite everyone to stay for Kiddush, where you can enjoy food, friendship, and joyful conversation in a relaxed, community setting.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Celebrations
Our Shabbat morning services are also where we celebrate Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremonies. These milestone moments are woven into the fabric of our service, with our youth leading prayers, reading Torah and Haftarah, and offering a D’var Torah—their own reflections on the weekly portion.

Get Involved
Shabbat at TBS is a shared experience. Members of our community regularly participate by chanting Torah, leading parts of the service, offering teachings, and accepting honors such as Aliyot. Whether you’re a lifelong Torah reader or taking your first steps into communal prayer, there’s a place for you here.

Streaming Available
Prefer to join from home? All services are livestreamed so you can participate wherever you are. To live stream our services, please find the service live stream links on our calendar, under the date and time of the service.

Shabbat Shalom and welcome!
We’re so glad you’re here and look forward to celebrating Shabbat with you—this week and every week.
